You can use this site to find help organise a funeral for a loved one who has recently passed away (an “at need” funeral).

However, if you’re planning a funeral service for the future, this is called a “pre-need” funeral and should be organised via a pre-paid funeral plan.

Regulation requires the money for funeral plans to be carefully held in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority rules. Golden Charter sells funeral plans as the main part of their business and are not involved with “at need” arrangements. Golden Charter and localfuneral.co.uk do not profit or have any involvement with “at need” services. These take place with the particular funeral director you select.
