Our hearts are broken at the death of our beloved husband, father, and brother, Thomas (Tom) Young.
Taken by a brief illness, shortly after his 84th birthday, he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of over 61 years, and by his children Tony and Joanne, their respective partners Carola and Brad, by grandchildren Liam, Reilly, Darwin, and Jules, and by his remaining sister Valerie.
He was a great husband and an exemplary father. A gentle, funny hard-working man. He was dearly loved and will be missed by family and friends all over the world.
Please meet for service in St. Benet's R C Church, Roker on Friday 3rd March at 12pm followed by a short committal in Sunderland Crematoriu
