We are asking for donations towards ward 5 at Clatterbridge. Paul spent a lot of his time there and the staff have been nothing but incredible. We feel it is fitting to raise funds for this ward in particular, as patients spend a minimum of 6 weeks isolated to their rooms, after a stem cell transplant. Not every room has a fridge and if we can raise enough to buy even just 1 more, think of the people we would be helping during their battle against leukaemia. Patients often get mouth sores after a transplant and things like yogurts, custard and cold bottles of water are a saving grace.
