It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen George on Saturday 21st December 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, following a period of illness.
Maureen had a beautiful soul, the beloved Wife of Graeme and adoring Mum to their son Lawrence.
Much loved Daughter of the late Tommy & Agnes, Sister to Kathleen, Gerry, Thomas, Brian & Eugene and loving Daughter in Law to Les & Moira.
She leaves behind a legacy of eternal love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Requiem Mass to celebrate Maureen's life, shall take place at Our Lady of Lourdes, Bishopton, on Saturday 10th January at 10am.

Following Mass, Maureen shall be laid to rest at a private family ceremony at Bishopton cemetery.
The family will then return to Lorimers (Greenock Rd, Bishopton) and warmly encourage everyone to join them here to raise a glass to Maureen.
In tribute to Maureen the family would like everyone to display a touch of lemon (or yellow) on the day if at all possible.
