Dirk died peacefully at home on Sunday, 13 December 2020.
Architect, planner, much loved husband and father, adored by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren around the world.
He will be piped from Wade’s Bridge to the Birks starting at 12.15pm on Wednesday, 23 December, on his last journey over the hills.
