Suddenly in hospital after a short illness surrounded by his loving family on 5th October aged 86 years David. Dearly loved husband of the late Hazel, adored dad of Karen and the late Tony, loving father in law of Kevin, devoted granda of Cara, Kate, Charlotte, Dale and Amy, treasured great granda of Daniel, Madeleine and Ellena, also a dear brother of Tom, Rita and George. Please meet for Requiem Mass in St. Benet's R C Church, Roker on Wednesday 12th October at 1.30pm followed by interment in Mere Knolls Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Sunderland Royal Hospital's Stroke Unit, a collection box will be available at the Church
