When arranging a funeral there are a number of decisions which have to be made. We understand how difficult this can be and our family, as professional qualified staff, aim to support you at every step of the way. Our role is to discuss and advise on the options available to you, and to put in place the necessary arrangements to best reflect your wishes, and those of the deceased.
Funeral arrangements are usually made after the death has been registered. We arrange the date and time of the funeral by liaising with both the family and the Minister, in addition to the chosen crematorium or cemetery.
As aforementioned, many decisions have to be made when arranging a funeral, and we are here to help guide you through these. In preparation for making the arrangements, some of the questions you may wish to consider are:
Is the funeral to be a Burial or Cremation?
\* Where would it take place? Would there be a service whether at home, in church or at the chapel of rest?
\* Who is the Minister you would like to officiate at the service?
\* Which hymns would you like and whether you would like an Order of service to be printed?
\* Would you like to place an obituary notice in the local paper?
\* How many limousines you require (up to 7 people per limousine)?
\* In both cases the funeral director will discuss the content with you and you will be provided with a proof before printing takes place.
We can also give advice on other information you may require such as:
• Dressing the deceased
• Visiting and viewing
• Alternatives to religious funerals
• Alternative choices of transportation
• The choice of coffin or casket
• The choice of music for the service
• Arranging flowers or donations
Our main office is based in Cimla, Neath and we have an outreach office on Old Road, Skewen.
