Porteous Family Funeral Directors are one of the few remaining family-run, independent funeral directors in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

There are now two generations of the Porteous family in the Company. Mark, his wife Yvonne and son Grant work with a dedicated team of staff, who between them have many years’ experience within the funeral profession.
As proud members of SAIF (The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors), we are fully compliant with both SAIF and Scottish Government Codes of Practice. This gives the families we serve reassurance that our standards of conduct are regulated and regularly monitored.
