Welcome to Peter Barnes Funerals, a family managed funeral director business with over 70 years of service to clients within Wisbech and its surrounding rural communities.
Situated in the village of Murrow just outside of Wisbech, the business was founded in 1951 by the late Alfred Sidney Barnes. Peter took over the business when his dad passed away in 1962 and has owned and managed the business ever since, assisted by his wife Sheila and more recently by his Daughter Diane.
Being members of both the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) as your local independent funeral director within this area and community, we abide to a strict codes of practice to ensure you receive a high standard of service.
