About Us
Our Aim
Our intention is to provide every element of the funeral service required by our client’s families to the highest possible standards. It is our main concern that we leave you with the sure knowledge that both you and your loved one has been treated with the utmost respect, dignity and care.
Our History
Lee Havill has over 21 years experience in funeral care service, which began in 1995 where he served his apprenticeship with numerous local funeral directors. Believing that there was something missing from the overall approach of funeral care and the overall decrease in local independent funeral homes, in 2006 Lee opened a new and independent funeral service catering for the local community by the local people with local ideals and practices. The premises which are situated in Halfway were originally built in the early 1900's and have seen many different traders, including a Fire Station and a Greengrocer. Converted to a funeral home in 2005, the home offers three chapels of rests which were blessed by Canon G. Spencer and other local clergy.
We appreciate the need for the bereaved families to be able to express and celebrate their religious beliefs and cultural traditions; therefore we can offer a funeral service for all denominations.
