Franklin & Hawkins Family Funeral Directors are a Family owned and run funeral directors, our role is to arrange a funeral in line with yours and your loved ones wishes and instruction, and ensure everything goes as arranged by you on the day. We will discuss your needs, advise on the range of services and products available then organise and coordinate in a caring, sensitive manner. We will go that extra mile to accommodate a family’s wishes. Always remember we are here to help and guide you, whatever your request may be.
As funeral directors and undertakers we are responsible for transporting your loved one into our care, where you can come and spend time with them in our private chapels of rest, at the funeral home of your choice. Alternatively we can provide assistance to enable your loved one to reside at home prior to the funeral. We provide all the facilities for you to pay respect and visit your loved one before the funeral, and deal with all the necessary and required paperwork to enable the cremation or burial to take place.
At Franklin & Hawkins Family Funeral Directors we can arrange everything from the time and date for the funeral to take place to liaising with the church, crematorium or cemetery, from providing the staff and vehicles, to placing obituaries in local newspapers, from arranging special music requests to ordering floral tributes on your behalf, recording those in attendance of the funeral so we can provide a full attendance list afterwards, and accepting floral tributes and any donations for your nominated charity. Whatever your wishes are, we will arrange them with dignity and professionalism to ensure the service is carried out exactly as you and your family wish.
We also specialise in direct cremations and if that is your loved ones request we can help you to carry out those wishes, everything we do is very personal to the wishes of you and your loved ones.
