Bungard Funeral Directors are Brighton & Hove’s oldest and longest serving firm of independent family funeral directors. We’ve provided funeral services and monumental masonry to the local community through five generations of our family since 1906, which has given us an invaluable amount of experience and knowledge in the funeral profession.
Our professional, respectful and personal delivery of funeral services to those who are dealing with bereavement ensures that we’re able to support and guide you through this most difficult of times. We will do everything in our power to provide you with everything you need on both a practical and emotional level, and ensure that you have all the time that you need to decide upon how exactly you’d like the funeral to take place and how you’d wish for your loved one to be remembered. You will also be cared for by your own director at all times so we can build a good relationship together and ensure continuity for you at all times.
We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As an independent funeral directors we focus all of our attention on responsively satisfying your wishes. We take a great pride in our funeral home, our vehicles and the way our staff conduct themselves, always working for you and delivering the highest levels of professional service. We also have a free Aftercare service to provide you with ongoing support if needed, this includes bereavement counselling with our trained counsellor and practical support at home.
You are welcome to meet with us in our offices to discuss your needs and funeral options in detail but we can also visit you at your own home should you prefer. We have many options to offer you including funeral transportation, a wide range of coffins to select from, help with post funeral refreshments, floral arrangements, newspaper notices and obituaries and much more. We also have a range of alternatives to enable you to personalise the funeral just as you would wish, from musical accompaniments, live streaming of the service, video tributes, doves, through to horse-drawn carriages and motorcycle hearses. We will do everything that we can to honour your wishes to the letter.
