Autumn Leaf Independent Family Funeral Director & Monumental Masons

Autumn Leaf Funeral Directors was created in early 2014 by well known local husband and wife team Ian and Mary Smith.

Having spent over 16 years as popular and respected funeral directors in the towns of Burry Port, Kidwelly, Llanelli and the surrounding areas working for a large funeral company, the couple decided that the time was right to open up their own Independent Funeral Business.

As Independent Funeral Directors, Ian and Mary are able to look after their clients in their own recognised and appreciated way without the constraints that a large company can sometimes place upon them.

They have been joined at Tabernacle Chapel by their daughter Alicia who is a History Graduate from Swansea University and her Husband Shane, who has been training very closely with Ian and is now conducting funerals in his own right, creating his own clientele, both moving the business forward as the next generation. Alicia and Shane have also both trained in all aspects of funeral arranging and office management.

Completing the team are husband and wife Edward and Elaine Morgan, a well known and respected couple who have worked alongside Ian and Mary for many years.

Also, our new funeral operative Mike James, a former postman, who is well known in the towns of Burry Port, Llanelli and surrounding areas.

Together, the team at Autumn Leaf have created a haven at Tabernacle Chapel, overlooking Burry Port harbour, where families can feel safe and secure in the knowledge that their loved ones will be cared for and respected at all times.
