About Us

The head office has been operating since 1899, and has been on Northgate Street for the past 90 years having moved from the original site on Rampart Road.

Sean and Martyn are the Funeral Directors. They arrange and direct funerals, and Sean holds the Diploma in Funeral Directing, as awarded by the National Association of Funeral Directors ensuring you are in the best possible hands. The busy office is managed by Mel, who is assisted by funeral arrangers Elaine, Jo, Polly and Sarah.

This branch houses our fleet of funeral vehicles, workshops and memorial showroom, and has a private Chapel of Rest for families who wish to visit their loved ones whilst in our care.

For those who are less mobile, or prefer the comfort of their own home, we are pleased to offer a home visit for funeral arrangements and memorials.
