Based at our refurbished and fully modernised funeral home on Harriet Street, Trecynon, we have been providing bereavement services and facilities for a number of years to the whole of the Cynon Valley and beyond.
We have built our reputation on “Dignity and Excellence” and we continually aim to uphold this standard in every aspect of funeral directing and all connected bereavement services. The care of the deceased is of paramount importance to us and we will ensure that the utmost dignity and confidentiality will be applied to your bereavement circumstances.
Our senior funeral director, J. James Richards, is able to bring both practical and spiritual advice to the funeral profession based on his wide experience over many years. He is thoroughly conversant with all aspects of the community and has a wide knowledge of skills in relation to other matters of bereavement, e.g. probate, estates, taxation and counselling.
His Father and fellow funeral director, Allen G. Richards, remains in a supporting role as a consultant in bereavement care and services.
Both James and Allen are highly trained and committed to their profession bringing a personal, caring and sympathetic understanding to all aspects of bereavement.
All other members of staff are highly trained and fully conversant with all aspects of the funeral profession. Richards Funeral Services have a personal working knowledge of areas throughout the Cynon Valley from Abercynon in the south, through Mountain Ash and to all parts of Aberdare including Abercwmboi, Cwmaman, Aberaman, Cwmbach, Abernant, Foundry Town, Gadlys, Trecynon, Cwmdare and Landare, Penywaun and Hirwaun.
